  1. I was looking into the hydro disk conversion for the wifes blaster when i put all my banshee axle and stuff on it, I was thinking of making my own kit sounds like i cant do any worse than what i can buy

  3. That is what i was thinking i ride dunes 95% of the times and drag race up hills. I was just thinking for the money not much more to go aftermarket cyl this year stock stroke (have my crank welded or chance it holding a year)And then next year geting a stroker a 7 maybe everyone has a 4. I want reliablity and speed but the faster you go the less reliable it is. I was just thinking if i port it with the stock stroke and then go stroker i will have to report and run a plate i dont want to run a plate so go 4 mil and port this is where i run into the $ aspect of going to aftermarket cyl. ? do you have to run a plate on the aftermarket cyl if they are ported for a stock stroke and then you go stroker like the stock cyl.   5. before you go pulling the head ... i Know they make them for cars but should work on this also its called a head gasket tester they sell two types one you add a chemical to a buld extract some collant and if there are exoust particals present it will register a different color meaning a head gasket leak. is a pressure tester that presurises the collant system and if the pressure drops you have a leak and can search around and find it
  6. Thanks for the info tying to decide if i want a stroker or a power valve then a stroker. which would be the most bang for the buck.. 4 mill and porting $1200 or powervalve $?

It shold die but i think the choke is only good til 1/4 throttle then the hole in the carb gets blocked and it by passes it so no the choke wot affect it.. do a plug chop pinned in 4 or so hold all the gears and make sure it cleaned out and pulls for a while in the gear before you cut the engine and remove the plug.. that is the proper way to check jetting not buy pulling the choke

  10. Probaly air in the cooling system try to purje it remove the radiator cap while it is running to release the trapped air check the over flow make sure it has collant in it

  14. Is it 4x4 i am sure it is but if not evil has a set of weld typhons he is selling with tires. but they wont fit the 4x4 hubs i think that is what he told me i was going to get them for my bronco
  15. I just got the ricky stator 200w and fly wheel... most of the hid systems only draw the same as a 35 watt and would not require a stator up grade just a battery/ or a capacitor and rectofier...
  16. I am lookng into H.I.D. lights also and you are not going to get a pair under 400 those are not real hids but halogens.. they would work but not be very bright at idle.. H.I.D. lights have a less amp draw than a conventional light and put out way more light that is what are on the bmw and benz yes you need to run a battery or a capacitor and a rectofier. I will let you know what i come up with i am expecting a call back today on a conversion..

  18. what does jim say have you talked to him , blue duece is running diferent pipes than you are and also at a different elevation and a different terrain he rides alot of desert so he wants a tall gear that pulls for a long time so the bike is not reved out.on the mx track it may be open and not very tight so the longer gear would work but for a short track or drag racing you run a lower gear revs out quick but for not very long.. Maybe the other guy was not telling you the whole story on his motor. what tires where you using and what was he using. how tall are youre rear tires 20 ,22, blue duece may be running an 18 on the mx track wich would be the same as gearing the front down.. there are alot of options and endless combinations you just have to play around with it till you get it they way you want.

If it runs harder or fells stronger cold you are rich lean it out alittle bit. do a plug chop jetting and rider mostly rider will determine a drag race. i got about 80 to 100 lbs on all my buddies and we all have the same mods and we all are about even when we drag i can beat them if i get a good whole shot and them the same..Its all rider what porting did you get trail drag dune what?

  23. I buy the pre mixed stuff glconol or something like it from the bike shop i noticed when it gets to the low mark for some reson it does not loose any more or if so very little..
  24. check the hubs and spindles
  25. yea clean them out really good and check the needle and seat foe debri and damage. also make sure the floats dont have gas in them like a hole in one that will cause it to sink
