250r feel diff cus the have power all the time unlike a banshee .. did you race him??? he might have surprised ya. not saying 250r's are baddest machines but they are nice bikes and feel alot diff then a banshee speed wise cus the power come on diff.. ohh wanted to say i rraced tt this weekend with my shee.. well got second got beat by an r third place was an even baddr looking r.. so i guess i did ok.. i was happy... no wreck no injuries makes me happy and having fun...

well the t splitter is a vent for the crankcase so it should hook to a hose the ends back by your swinger... the other hose goes to your coolant bottle...i am guessing this from what you have said if you wanna take pics of what you have me and /or others will be sur to tell you where it goes...

get a clmers manual.. you be fine just follow instructions . banshee motors are simple to split cases and pull crank out.. but i would have a manual to helpyou threw it...

i have reverse a set of wheels for tt racing not had a prblem yet... i'm sure on thetech side you will have more bump steer in rough stuff but its a cheap way to widen the front i say go for it or enjoy it if already done...
