  1. I posted a big review on the I-Razrs in this forum, maybe a couple threads down by now.
  2. With what you mentioned before, you should be more than fine with a 50/50 mix. You should advance your timing if you can, because it helps. I ran mine at +7 and it really helped it scream. I'd go more than +4, maybe try +6 and see how she does. One note, going over +4 can cause it to need an extra kick or so when cold starting, shouldn't affect warm starting.
  3. the last number is the diameter of the rim and that has to be, but the width is something that you can get based upon your needs. You want a wheel that's narrower than the tire because it helps 1) to keep the bead on the wheel at lower pressures and 2) protect the wheel from the tire bulge. Typically, a rear would be 10x8 and a front would be 10x5. I prefer a 9" rear wheel, but that's me. MX'ers like an 8" wheel.
  4. I'll sell both fronts for $40 shipped. I don't want to seperate them.
  5. They're on Quadzone.com. Member says $125 plus shipping or best offer. Thats a good deal as they're 75 a piece new and these are said to be 95%. Here's the link: I-Razr's for sale.
  6. Give us some info in what your looking for. As Led said, they're always for sale, but just depends on the info. Are you looking for a mx bike, stock bike, built bike? Later.
  7. You have a PM. One question, if they're new, why'd you have to buy packing?
  8. Here is a crazy ass baja light bar. Perfect for those 1,000 treks.... Click here for the item.
  9. I'll give you $50 for the FMF silencers. Do you have any pics as well?
  10. Hell, I'll come down and meet you and give you $500 for the whole shebanger, and that'll save you a lot of time from tearin it down.
  11. Stock offset is 3-2. A 4-1 is good if your wanting to narrow the machine a bit. For instance, I'm running +2 arms in XC/ Woods and use the 4-1 when I need a narrower track and my 2-3's when it's opened up. On a side note - I don't believe Hiper is currently making a front wheel in a 4-1 offset with a Yamaha pattern. This was recently discussed on another forum, Quadzone.com, that is moslty a quad racing site. Later.
  12. Is that his name??? That goon is gonna be the death of me.... Please... bring ATV Sport back...
  13. I guess I've missed this post. I was going to ask if it's for sure a Mikuni, but I guess it is. Sounds like your getting close Bansheeboy, good deal. Oh, and for the record, I'm running an EEK needle, but thats of no importance in this thread. Later fellas.
  14. Spoke with a tech named Scott at Dyna and he said there is no problem in running a high watt stator and that racers do it all the time. He said NO PROBLEM.
  15. Didn't know there was a difference. My bike is an "02.
  16. That wheel is a 4/1 custom Yamaha pattern Hiper. I don't know if they make a 4/1 Yammi Hiper now, but at that time (9-23-04), they did not. Here's a quote of what "Laz" from GT Thunder did : Yea, Honda's come stock with Ohtus. So do some Bombardiers. And, of all the people, I can't believe YOU would direct me to a Honda site.... pshhh...
  17. Sorry, I was being sarcastic. Dave is a great guy and honors that discount. His purchase procedure is you get the price off the site and then go to a buy page and you enter the item and then the amount of money to send him. So, if his normal price on something is $100, you'll type in $90 and note your BHQ member name and there it is.
  18. Thanks bigboy. I was on that site this morning and couldn't find the Pro Comp (PC101 model) on their site. Quadzone has a lot of XC racers and that's where I heard them mention it. Some of these guys are GNCC pro racers and have been around awhile. I just got curious when I heard the one mentioning it. I found them for around $57 a tire at one site, but couldn't find them anywhere else. I may have to order a set to try, we'll see.
  19. On another board, they were discussing some wheels and the pic below was shown. Somone questioned the tire and he said, and I quote, "Those are Othsu Pro Comps, they where the tire to run in the late 80's and early 90's. To this day they are one of the best turning front tires on the market but they do tend to get side wall cuts." Anyone ever hear of these and maybe even ran them? I'm wondering if they're that good. I hate hearing how good something is, because it makes me wanna buy it. Scott
  20. discount... what discount
  21. awww tit, we all luv, even if you are a sheepfucker..... ya....
  22. I may need a stock stator for my bike. I'm trying to round up a few members who may have one they're willing to part with. If so, let me know.... Thanks, Scott
  23. Run the lowest class you can. You can always move up but you can never move down. If you've never raced before, then start out in the first year class. not a bad idea. no matter how you trail ride, it doesn't come close to comparing to running a xc race. You don't realize how many times you may relax around a corner, or hang back to wait for a friend or back off the throttle and little stuff like that. When you get out there and it's race time, your adrenaline is pumped and it's nonstop for 2 or so hours of full throttle as fast as you can go and maybe faster, not hard trail riding for 30 min and then grab a drink or wait up for friends. I can't explain it, but the hardest of trail riding isn't the same, it just isn't. It's even more fun, and such a freaking blast to be out there pushing your hardest. So, like I said, run the lowest class you can and get a feel for it. If you feel that you should have more competition or race against tougher guys, then go for it, but get a feel for it first. What machine are you gonna enter with and how is it setup? Later.
