  1. I'll be posting a list of what's for sale tomorrow sometime.... Thanks for the inquiries, I'm hoping to get through this quickly so I can get back to racing. I'm not going to be able to race anymore until I get this finalized. Scott
  2. What happened on AIM? I'd get your message and when I'd reply, you'd disappear like you went offline and wouldn't be in the online list. Anyways... you got a PM.
  3. I'm confused as to where you got those numbers. I'm selling it for $5,500 on this site. I'm selling it locally for $6,000. I'm also selling it for $4,500 with out the items I listed in the first post. If it doesn't sell quick, I'll be replacing a lot of the aftmkt pieces with stock pieces and trading it in. Then selling those aftmkt items.
  4. So, just trade me your YFZ or have your bro trade me then take what you want and sell the rest.
  5. sure thing man. I'll set you up!
  6. Loco, you think your brother would want to trade his YFZ for my Banshee? I won't pull nothing off, except for the beadlocks my wifey gave me, I keep the beadlocks and he keeps the wheels on the YFZ..???
  7. haha, she's not ready for that, and do we really need another Brooke running aroudn??? hehe Just joking Brookeepoo. She is a cutie, and not a lightweight by any means.... how'd she do with the delivery being a week and a half late?
  8. You guys crack me up. No joke. I've really tried to push myself hard for this race season, and I feel I could be more competitive on a 4 stroke. Not for the power, but for power delivery. As smooth as the power is on my banshee, it's still not like the thumpers. If you think I'm joking, check the For Sale section for one nice '02 Banshee. For one, I'm kind of getting bored with it, not a whole lot left I can do without going to another level, and I'm really trying to shift my focus to racing. I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed yet, but I'm going to get all the stock stuff I can to replace what I can. I honestly feel, i can strip some of the aftmkt stuff and sell it and make more money with the trade than I could by selling it with all the shiz on there. I don't think I'm gonna go nuts with the stripping, but I'm gonna replace the front end, the rear shock, steering stem, stator cover, rear hubs and sell all that outright. I'll probably pull the nerf bars and sell them, pull the full skid plate and sell that, and I might replace the PRM bumper with a stocker and sell that as well. Later fellas, Scott
  9. I'm going to strip a lot of the extra stuff that I can and replace it with stock items. Now, do you guys think it would be better to leave the PT's on, or put my stock exhaust back on? I have a single carb, and don't really wanna mess with putting duals back on, and it wouldn't get me a whole lot of money to do it, I don't think. I don't know what the trade-in value will be, but I think I could get it done a lot quicker and actually better off by stripping and trading than selling it straight up. Dunno, never traded a quad in. Any thoughts peeps? Scott
  10. Sick and Fro, you both got PMS.... hehe, meant PM's.
  11. Some things I want: Stock A-arms (to fit 2002 Banshee) Stock front shocks (white or yellow) Stock rear shock Stock steering stem Stock stator cover PM me or email me at [email protected]
  12. If your running stock a-arms, the 3-2 offset is fine. If your +2 a-arms , then I'd consider getting another brand and getting a 4-1 offset. The 4-1 will handle a tad better, it won't be too wide for the trails and will help out a lot with bumpsteer. The reason is, it puts the centerline of the wheel directly over the ball joints so the bump is transferred straight above the spindle, where as a more offset wheel its transferred outside of the spindle and tries to kick the tire more. Post some pics when you get em. Scott
  13. Most likely a 200 watt will do. Electrax or something like that also makes a 250 watt with a seperate circuit for the extra 50. 55w on each Hella and 35w on each Trail Tech.
  14. No parting out, and I'm in no hurry. I'm gonna keep riding and making the races. If something pops up, then I'll bite, if not, then I still have a really nice machine to ride. I really don't foresee anyone on the net paying that. It'll have to be a local sale or a trade to get what I want. And I doubt I'm going anywhere.
  15. I'm ready to make the move from the banshee to a yfz because I'm becoming more serious with racing. I love my freaking banshee, but it just isn't what I need, so I have to be realistic. I've only raced it twice, once before the rebuild and once after with no ill effects whatsoever. I have 10 grand into my banshee. It's been ridden 3 times since it's frame up rebuild. End of October and early November, I had it down to the frame, gussetted and powdercoated. I also replace the top end, which is the first set of pistons I've put in. It starts first or second kick every time. 160 lbs. compression Click here for my "Rebuild" pics folder. I've ridden it in the sand a few times and it hangs with them all, no probs, but haven't been back since the portwork. It's an extremely nice duner. Front a-arms are +2wide/+1 forward, rear axle is +4 wide overall and the suspension is totally friggin awesome, second only to long travel. I have different sets of front springs to help dial in the plushness and they can be changed in 2 minutes. My mods are as follows: 2002 Banshee w/ clear title Powdercoating Gorr woods port Wiseco Pro-Lites Trinity CV 35mm Coolhead-20cc PT Mids VForce Reeds PD timing plate PD Impeller & cover lightened flywheel Dyna ignition Ricky Stator 200w Hella 500s Elka piggy fronts/rezzie rear LSR +2/+1 A-arms LSR rear hubs LSR +1 Stem Durablue +4 adj. axle -1 Custom swinger/CEJ carrier ASR Heim tie rods Denton stabilizer Douglas Ultimate Beadlocks (front and rear) 20" I-Razr/Sand Skates Galfer lines PRM bumper/grab bar/full skid DG nerfs EBC Dirt Racer Pro-Flow/UNI Tag T2 bars Moose handguards Billet stator cover K&K quick-change clutch cover & more shiz, I could keep going, but hard to remember... I'll be selling locally for $6,000 take all, everything, paddles, back up front Baja wheels/I-razr fronts, dyna ignition, everything. I'll sell it the same way for $5,500 on the BHQ. Also, I'll sell it for $4,500 w/o the Dyna ignition, f&r beadlocks and baja wheels/tires.
  16. Maybe this will help you a little.
  17. Under most circumstances, a stutter or burbling wet sound would indicate a rich condition, hence the need to lean a little. Lean conditions often present a flat even bog, and maybe some backfiring or pops. There's exceptions to every rule with jetting, that's why it's so important to read the plugs as well. In your case, it's extremely important to identify where your stutter is. Is it at 1/2 throttle, full throttle, just off of idle? This will tell you what jetting circuit you must deal with. As far as finding your float heights, maybe contact CarbParts.com and discuss the float with them and they may be able to give you some insight. Scott
  18. Call TCS Shocks and ask for Todd. Talk to him about your springs, shocks and weight and he'll give you honest answers as to what you need to do. Later. TCS Racing - Click Here.
  19. You need to run a plug check to find out. At those temps, a 290 or 300 might be more suited, but I'd at least give it a try, see how she's running. I don't jet with the bike off, I jet with it running, to see the plugs and feel how shee's running.
  20. yea, and i actually meant 10x9 previously. that's what i'm running with 20x11x9's
  21. Hell, I don't even have a banshee. The pics I've shown you guys I got off of Bluetraxx....
  22. You might try posting an ad in the Wanted section. That way you know how many are out there for sale and how much they're wanting.
