  1. You going to pick up a truck or something? Good to see you back Dune-a-tic. Stan: Yea something like that Just trying to finalize the deal now If I can help you out or somethin, let me know. Hell, you oughta let me buy you an Outback dinner for all the help you've given me. Hmmm.... I could save some shipping charges also. I've been wanting to get my laptop to you, but I've been too lazy to figure out how to ship the damn thing. Later.
  2. Exactly what I was going to say when I saw the title. Nancy, that's funny as foook!!
  3. What's happenin. Looks like we got a new member here. Loco's got you covered.
  4. Yeah, that's meat and he's on quite a bit.
  5. key? what key? i didn't know banshee's were supposed to have keys... yeah, that suxxs. i don't let anyone, and i mean anyone ride my shit, and that's exactly why i don't ride other people's shit. if i'm gonna f*ck somethin up, it'll be my own machine.
  6. What boots have you all found have the most flexibility? I've heard the Thors are pretty nice, what are they... the T30's? I'm looking at getting a new pair and want something that's going to flex better than the old school bike boots.
  7. The banshee is a very capable jumper. It will jump easily, landings can be hard sometimes, especially if your off a little. Aftmkt shocks are extremely appreciated on the shee however. You can pick up a set of Works shocks pretty inexpensively and it will be three times the jumper and handle a lot better. But comparing the 300ex to the banshee is pretty hard, they are both totally different, setup differently, power comes in way different, and it's more taxing to ride, but if you like adrenaline and the insane power, then you'll like it.
  8. I also use Castor 927, great oil, just likes to seperate at 40 degree F and below, so if it's cold out then just shake the machine a little before you start and it will be alright.
  9. Yeah, that is a long f'ing way. I won't be driving it anytime soon!!

    LS, Ok.

Damn you! Bet you'll have fun. I'd actually consider going, but my father-in-law is in town this weekend and we gotta do the golf thing, you know. No riding this weekend... dammit!!!
  11. No prob. SPL is fun for the boom, but SQ is way more involved and IMO kickass. Anyone can throw an amp and subs and kick SPL, but to get the SQ awards, you have to take time to do your shit right and get it tweaked just perfect and you have to love your shit. It's hella fun, but I'm too lazy anymore to try that hard. We used to wire up 4 1000 watt amps and wire them down to 1 ohm, pack them in dry ice and freaking pound the SPL class, it was fun as hell. Later bro, let us know how you do.
  12. Sure, I'll mail you a nice brown wet one. Pics would be nice though.
  13. SQ is much more than just SQ; you get points for a lot of different aspects of your whole system, installation, and sound. The below is full points available, but it can be hard to get all of them. Also, I believe USAC's site is soundoff.org. Basically like this: Installation (Total 60 Points) - Power Source Design (15 Points - Batteries installed correctly, vented correctly, terminals are of proper size, fused properly.) - Equipment Integrity (10 Points - Mounted properly, installed properly, wired properly, i.e. drywall type screws are considered improper.) - Speaker Design (10 Points - Properly mounted and protected, i.e. grills for protection is important) - Amplifier Integrity (10 Points - Properly mounted and cooled, generally require forced cooling unless in the complete open) - Overall Cleanliness (5 Points- No McDonald's trash and such) - Ease of System Maintenance (5 Points - Ease of replacing a component should a problem occur, and how accessible the items are.) - System Knowledge (5 Points - You'll have 7 minutes to present the vehicle, the system components. You need to go over and explain the system and details. Your allowed an assistant to help, but only you will be judged. If you go over 7 minutes, one point is deducted per minute.) Sound Quality Judging (80 Points) -This judging is to evaluate how well the audio system duplicates or recreates the original music performance.
  14. i'm trying to figure what dates will work for me, but I'd like to take a trip there in a month or maybe two. Just gotta get a date set, I've got a couple people who'd like to meet up also.

  19. he got a weak back. happened about a week back. ha funny. My brain's about a week back...
  20. The "real" way to tell if you need a hotter or colder plug than your using is by reading the ground strap. The change in color on the ground strap should happen right in the middle of the bend. Read this thread on heat range for a full explanation.
  21. Hey Nate, any recommended things I should do or Utilities programs I should run to get my OS X running as efficiently as possible?

  24. Thanks fellas. You know, evil, i was thinking about leavin them off today. I had parked somewhere and glanced back (who doesn't do that) and thought that they look pretty tough without them, and I'll be throwin in some Warn's up front so that'll bring a little more bling to the hubs. Cool. Later.
