i got a friend with dmc 916. it ported dont know what style. he told the ported he wanted it to haul ass. and it does. wow. when we got to waynoka he usually beat most bike. unless they are plain ass drag machines.

you might try this. remove the carbs and the slides. i took some scotch brite sponge whatever and cleaned the bore and the slides up some. you would think there might not be something a little ruff in there but afterwards i havent had any problems with mine. knock on wood

that compression for a stock bike really isnt bad depends on what elevation. i would defiently run oil at 32:1 also is the bike warmed up or after you start it and let it idle. if you get it warmed up adn are cobbing on it and smoking i would start looking at stuff like jetting and whatnot

i got a toomey. yeah its not cheap but when it 100 degrees out i can ride a lot longer compared to the stock rad on other bike, at the dunes. it was a wise investment in my opinion the only complaint is in the winter, im going to cover half of it up so the bike will get warmer

the town i live in has an old ass by law. since it is a farming community, atv are consitered a legal vehicle that you can ride around in town. the town is like 600 people. all you have to do is have a dl, obey all traffic signs, and dont speed. most of the town it a 30 you can put around in 3rd gear no go over that. i even had a cop radar me to check how fast i was going. so when i get stressed out i hop on the shee. and cruise town. boring but still fun and doesnt waste gas in my pu. later
