well I took the clutch side apart and the problem was the shift shaft adjuster came loose. I adjusted it up and it seems to work now, I did notice that there is a piece (looks to be pressed in) the hold the to little arms to the shift shaft that has signs of wearing so that may need to be replace soon as well.
I have a 4mil stroker motor, 68mm pistons, grand river racing lock up clutch with clear cover side mod, 1-5 override tranny, cool head, v force reeds ricky stator, stator, adjustable timing plate, prodesign intakes, 35 pj keihns $2500 obo.
Anybody ever had a problem, that once you get in first gear with the clutch in, you can still push the shifter down endlessly. I am not sure what would allow the shifter to shift lower than first gear.
