shaving you head means more compression. compression=power you do the math. 50 bucks sounds a little steep for a head mod. my machinest does it for 20. just my .02

im behind ya bignasty my noss head is the shit. i switched it out for a pro design. looks 100% badder than the p/d. compression = power. i went from 21cc domes to 20's and was real surprised with the results. there was alot of gain in 1 cc. i would have never believed it if someone had told me that but now am a believer.

I have a complete set of plastic to trade. i have front and rear fenders in black. also have tank and radiater in red. radiater cover still has black grill in it. comes with seat and factory black cover. cover has a rip in the seam about 3 inches long. could be sewn back together. i would just purchase an aftermarket myself. im looking for either 28 or 30 mm carbs, chrome a-arms or aftermarkets, or aftermarket shocks. or may trade for aftermarket 300ex parts. will get picks up soon.

ok i guess ill jump in here and say it. you guys are all crazy. pipes arent all that make the quad. every aftermarket pipe that ive ever ridden on produces more power than stock. the only difference is where the powerband hits hardest. youve got low end pipes. good for tight trails, and tight places where low end works best. then youve got the mid range pipes. wich most people will tell you are the best all around pipes. ok for trails, and ok for dragging. then youve got your top end pipes thats the pipes for dragracing. low end pipes tend to poop out sooner than the mids. the mids dont have as much low end power or top end power. the top end pipes arent as good on the bottom, or mid as the other two, but break loose on the top. so you have to decide what you ride more. its up to you. i dont think theres a pipe out there that will under perform those stockers. all pipes will run shitty if your not tuned right. ive put on alot of exhausts and all of them out performed the stockers. just my .02

you said it ran great b4 the foam filter and the 260's. the jetting could be the prob. but i would start with the filter. if you dont know how to properly maintain a foam filter it will hurt your performance. start with cleaning the filter first with solvent then with dish detergent. the solvents break down the oils in the filter and the dish detergent breaks up all the dirt. squeeze all excess water out and let it air dry. next is the tricky part that not everyone thinks about. oiling the filter. buy some foam air filter oil put it on the filter evenly. squeeze out the excess. get you some paper towels wrap the filter in paper towels and squeeze all the excess oil out. too much oil chokes out the bike. if that doesnt work try adjusting the air screws. screw the air screws all the way in and then count the turns out. make sure they are both the same.the air screws shouldnt go out further than 2 and a half turns or in more than a half a turn. i bet if you turn them out a half a turn youll notice a difference. sorry so long i was bored.

I have a Kawasaki H1 bike complete. No title. If your not familiar with this it is a 500cc. three cylinder two stroke motor. I don't know a whole lot about this bike; although i have had it running, but i think the top end is weak. I have found no flaws with the motor. Never noticed anything broken or chipped. I did unplug the oil injection and ran mix in it (i dont trust the oil injections). I rode this bike one time. I think this would be an amazing drag motor. This was going to be a personal project of mine but lost interest. i measured the motor for the frame i had, and would fit with no frame cutting. This was in a suzuki lt250r '91 model. The frame is already sold. I am taking offers on the complete bike. all trades welcome. i think this would make someone a bad motor. The bike complete looks great for its year. i think its a 72 model but not positive. The chrome on the piupes looks almost perfect. Really is a nice bike. I am trying to describe this bike the best i can. well let me know what youll give for it. Thanx
