Not that I know of. I hit my left knee on my steering wheel I think and I'm just all sore from bein tense and shocked but other than that I'm pretty good.

Road. Ok actually I don't have the pic of the light on this puter. But it's mounted maybe an inch to the right of the frame horn on the drivers side. So basically more than half my truck was riding on the non road side of the railing.

Well here I am comin home from school la ti da. I'm lookin around havin a good time it's about 60 degrees out, windows open music turned up. Then my right tire hits the gravel on the shoulder of the road, hits a dip where theres a driveway into a field and pulls me down. Heres a guardrail over a bridge that I ride completely across before setting it down on the other side and whipping back and forth coming to a hault in the left lane. I have two pics. One of the truck one of the railing. Theres an orange fog light on the drivers side of my truck under the bumper. It broke off on the rail right where the yellow tag is. I got a pic of where the light on my truck is too, just to show how far my truck was actually hanging over the rail. I definitely shouldn't be here right now and I thank God a million times that I'm still alive right now. Only thing holdin that front tire on is the tie rod which they had to sawzall off to get the truck onto the flatbed wrecker. Damage = front bumper smashed in lights broken grill cracked hood dented from the sign front diff case blown apart left side tires/rims messed up upper and lower control arms broken tie rod cut axle smashed brakes wrecked fender flares in about 10 pieces front bash guard ripped in half and a bent u-bolt holdin my axle to the leaf springs. I think thats about it.

Get some hose clamps. I forget what size to get, but I just got some in a huge pack and used whatever fit. I use the hose clamps on everything...stock clamps aren't as cool I don't think. Bob

Everything is just gonna get flat blacked. My friend's got a sprayer and said he'd do it for nothin. So I'm gonna take it.

So I got some more pics. Just the frame sitting on the axle and the jack. It took me about 3 hours yesterday cutting the uprights for the sides. And I don't even have ALL of them done yet. I got sidetracked and ended up messing with hinges for the rear door/ramp. But I figure, Monday I'll for sure have everything for the uprights and crossbraces all cut out and possibly all of it welded up. I got the plywood at home right now so I can get it all cut and shaped here so I don't have to waste time in my class with that stuff. I don't think I'll get the entire thing done by the end of my class (the end of next week) cause I'm on spring break right now and only have 4 days next week to work on it. As long as I get all the welding done on it I should be ok though...I got a riveter here to put my siding on if I have to (which I probably will have to do) Everything is going along pretty nicely though. The hitch was a bit of a pain in the ass, but now it's outa the way. Couple guys told me the A frame hitch comes in 60 degrees where it connects...Well it's really 65 degrees. So I had to add about 2 feet on top of the tubing I already had tacked on. Luckily enough for me I won't need a massive drop hitch for my truck now...a 2" should be good enough cause the hitch on the trailer sits up about 2 feet. I thought with my truck being about 7 inches higher than stock would really throw it off, but cause I had to add those pieces in it all evens out pretty great. -More pics to come hopefully Monday- Bob

First time not sure what happened...but I'm thinkin my head warped and coolant was getting burned up, therefore, I overheated....2 times while in Silver Lake. When we got back I rebuilt in about a week cause I had a race to get to in a few days. Broke it in perfect ran great for 2 races...I was dicking around on it around the house and BLAM wrist pin clip pops off one side, the other side the piston blew off the electrode on the spark plug = bye bye both cylinders. So I had no money til I talked to frocash and finally picked up his shit and threw it in. Decided to work on it today cause it was so beautiful outside (almost 40 degrees!) and was a bit shy to fire it up but I figured it's not gonna fire itself.

Finally rode the banshee today after having it sit in pieces since the end of July. 3rd top end including stock. Blew it up once, rebuilt, blew it up again, waited til little while ago and bought Frocashmoney's top end. This thing is friggen insane now. Mad power at the wheels. Hopefully it'll do me good at the track this year. Thanks again Fro! Bob

Photographer seeks people showing off...

I'm with that guy. -
Why would you be hacking it up if you punched it out? You should just be able to put a punch on it and tap it outa there...if not a press works nicely.

Ya well....About the x braces in front. I have 2x2 angle gussets at about 1 foot in each corner. It's strong as hell...Got it flipped over on the tires and finished welding everything else up today. Wanted to have it hauled to get painted tomorrow for over the weekend, but I don't have class tomorrow and haven't gotten the lights setup yet. So...Monday it's getting taken to the painter. Coming back tuesday so I can get the verticals welded into place. I decided on 1x1 square tubing for all the uprights. Then I'm gonna use that 1" round stuff for the top crossbraces and for the rear drop door and the front side door. I keep forgetting my damn camera so pics will have to wait til Monday! Bob

Well I started my fabrication class this last Monday after a week of our instructor being ill. As of today I have the frame welded, all the crossbraces on, axle and hitch welded on...pretty much the entire base is complete. I'm gonna get some 1x11/16 wall round tubing from my uncle to make the vertical supports 6.5' high. I think. It'd be cheaper going with the round tubing from him, but will be more work riveting the siding on. 1x1 1/16" wall square tubing is about a dollar a foot. I can get this round stuff much cheaper from him. Dunno what I'll do with that yet. But anyway...here are some pics of the frame from yesterday-axle hasnt been installed yet. Forgot the cam today so no new pics. It's 20'4" from tail to tip of the ball hitch. My friend is taking it to his place over the weekend to paint it for me. The first pic is just the layout before I started welding. Tell me what you think. Bob

Alright...I have no idea what you're talkin about...

Alright...Turns out its the rear end like I kinda figured. Gears just blown to pieces and shit like that. So I was given a $1500-2000 estimate to begin with...We'll see where that goes. The guy was askin if I do a lot of burnouts and smoke my tires a lot cause he's never seen gears in pieces like that. Truth is, I've only spun my tires a few times a longass time ago. So he's putting in an auburn system deal and all new bearings and shit. Hopefully it'll be good after this.

I aint worried about all that court junk as much as I am about my truck. And the fact that this old bastard has nothing better to do than nark for no reason. My mom said he's probably just pissed off cause 50 years ago when he was in school he got beat up a lot and never had a nice vehicle, now that he sees my nice truck supposedly having fun he has to quick get back at anybody with a nice vehicle for him getting his ass kicked. Some people should never be allowed to leave their home.
-
The cop didn't see anything. He was nowhere near this when it happened. He's going off what the old bastard said and that's the reason behind the warning. Cause the old man said I was going 60-65, but I had told him it wasn't anymore than 55...So I had to have in my statement that yes I was going over the speedlimit and since I confessed like that he gave me the warning.

I can't fucken believe the shit that happened tonite. So my bud came over and we went to this town to go cruisin. We get there all is cool we take a few laps down the main drag and we're coming back to the turnaround and this truck full of hotties is talkin to us. They are like "you guys wanna go to a party?" and I was like "I dunno" cause it was quite a drive...So we pull into the turnaround to talk and I said sure we'll go. So we both pull out and I was following them and I'm like "Oh shit I need gas." So I speed up to tell them I need gas before we leave. So I tell them they slow down a bit and I pull in front of them cause the station is on the left side. Red light. I stop, turns green, I started moving...All sudden *clunk clunk clunk* and I come to a screeching stop. So either tranny or rear axle went. Well that wasn't the worst part of it. I stood there for about 10 minutes and this guy pulls up asking if I called a cop. I said ya he's on his way and he says "good cause I wanna testify!" So I'm thinkin wtf right...Well the cop gets there, gets my story and shit then tells me this 65 year old dude wants to testify saying I was driving wrecklessly and just totally fucking around and speeding. TOTALLY NOT FUCKING TRUE! So he gets a statement from everyone saying what happens...I say I couldn't have been going more than 55 MAX. The old man says we were going at least 60-65. My story and the story of the people I was following were exactly the same. No bullshit nothin. Then theres this old fuck that now wants to take me to court. WTF!!! Do people have nothing better to do than to fucken take me to court for a god damn ticket on either speeding or wreckless driving or whatever!?!? We weren't even fucking around so whatever the hell he saw is beyond me. So I got a written warning for speeding and now awaiting to see if this fuck wants to take me to court or what. And had to stand out in the cold in the middle of the highway for about 1 1/2 hours and hold onto my stuff outa my truck and sit in this crunched cop car writing a statement. Sorry for the story, but I'm fucken pissed. Bob

Alright I decided to go 15'6" from the back to the peak of the peaked front. That way I won't have to add anymore steel for the base and I'll still have a little more than 12 feet of 4 feet wide usable space. Buyin all my iron and starting to build on Monday. Wish me luck and thanks for all the suggestions. Bob
-
Ahh don't be a girl...Nobody REALLY needs it. You just want it bad. You NEED oxygen water food and shelter
-
By channel iron...I meant steel. Just what we say around here. It's not THAT heavy. The axle is rated for 2000 lbs and I don't plan on hauling anymore than that. Right now I'm looking at mostly the outer covering. The cost of the steel isn't too much of a problem for that couple extra feet. I was gonna put aluminum over the outside and that costs 60 bux for a 4x10 sheet. And I'd need 7 of them for a 7x10 which is about 420 bux. Add another couple feet and it'd be probably 2 or 3 more sheets. Unless anybody has suggestions for what I could cover it with? Other main thing is the weight again. The axle can only hold up to 2k and I don't wanna haul more than that with my truck anyway. So the weight of the trailer, and if theres two quads in the trailer, sets of tires...doesn't leave too much room for anything else. I dunno yet...14ft would be nice, but again it's the weight factor.
