  3. Thanks boonman. I just put new floats in the carbs so im thinking its that, but i took the carbs out and went threw them twice. Intoxicated, thanks but i have an extra stator.
  4. Thats a small dome which will give you higher compression. You will need higher octane than 98 octane. Why are you going with such a small dome size?
  5. Flat trak, i have the same exact problem with my 91 banshee and it has 34 pjs on it. If i pull start the bike it will run but i cant kick start it. So if you figure it out let me know what it is. Thanks.
  6. Can someone tell me what the symptoms are of a bad stator? One of my bikes wont start by kicking it over but will run if i pull start it. Any advice is appreciated.
  7. I use it in the cheetah motor and it help alot but after a while i had a hard time shifting. I put the 2-5 overide and it works great.
  8. If your plugs are wet and black, it sounds like your way to rich. What kind of mods do you have to run a 158 with 35's. You jet your bike to the oil ratio you use. Thats why some run a larger jet to compensate for less oil, and others do visa versa.
  9. The 500 was at 106hp when i dynoed it 7 years ago. Thats without the NOS. I dont remember what the torque #'s was. The cheetah is suppose to be around the high 80's low 90's on gas but were putting alky carbs on it so it should run higher hp #s. Trinity told me that the cheetah would give my 500 a run for the money but i havent seen it yet!
  10. The pipes work great for inframe drag pipes. Were changing the bike from dunner/drag bike to a straight drag bike, so im getting rid of the pipes for out frames.
  11. The complete set of marvin show shocks, fronts and the rear, for $225 + shipping. Rocket pipes, brand new lonestar axle (with aluminum hubs), 8 paddle taller haullers on a 9 in rim, used 2 times also available.
  12. I dont know how to post pics. Minkia helped me out with those. I pulled the blue bikes motor out and putting an 2 to 5 tranny in it and getting the frame powdercoated.

  14. Duece, what cell phone carrier do you have that your cell phone works out at dumont! We all have cell phones out there with different carriers and none of them work--The jetting is almost the same from Glamis to Dumont. I never reject when i go to either place. Just bring alot of blankets if your sleeping in a trailor because last weekend it got down in the 30's and the heater had a hard time keeping us warm! SO WHENS THE DATE OF THE TRIP???

  16. Your pilots need to be changed. If its that hard to start the bike, spray a little WD 40 in the carbs and it should start right up!
  17. Look for any burns in the wiring harnass. I had the same thing happen in my bike. Bancheeta helped me out with my problem. He told me it was the key switch and it was. The switch had so much sand that it was causing a current between the two wires which made it not start.
  18. I run br8es and gap them at .20 on my drag bike. I tired split fire before and saw no difference. On my other two bikes i run a b7es and b8es. The b7es is a hooter plug.
  19. I take my motor out in about 15 min or even less. 1st take the carbs off. Than the pipes(not the silencers), drain the radiator fluid,pull the two motor mount bolts from the bottom, disconnect the clutch cable from underneath the left carb,disconnect the electrical, take the coil wires off the spark plugs, remove the front and rear bolts connecting the frame to the motor and your ready to pull it out! Hope this helps.

  21. H300f, the motor is a 421 cheetah with the powervalves so theres a combination of things working to help the bottom end. I use Rocket pipes with it, which is suppose to be more of a high end pipe than cpi's, and the bike has 15 41 gearing and a 10 in. swing arm. It does second gear launches lifting the wheeles up until i shift to next gear. Thats in sand with a nine paddle haulers. Thats telling me somethings helping my bottom end. My 410 big bore has to be geared down to 13 45 to have the same kind of launch out of the hole.
  22. A 12 44 gear ratio would probalbly put you at pulling 5th gear hard if you dont weigh more than 2 bills. You should be able to launch in 3rd. My wifes bike is at around 70hp and thats the gearing on it. I use to have the V paddle over ten years ago, worked great for the dunes but sucked for dragging.
