heres how i do it and im special lol sorry been drinking
pull air box off or filters off. take teh tool and put the adapter on it. and make sure you have some cable slack. get a base line reading at idle. then adjust the idle screws to where they get teh same readings.
do the idle first
then after you get the idle the same and at a decent rpm.
with stock carbs, try to get it where it revs up like 3-5k rpm by getting someone to hold the throttle or wedgeing a screwdriver up the housing. what ever you do try to to get a steady rpms
thats where the terry cable comes in nice.
then adjust them to where they pull the same reading.
and go for a ride if one pipe starts to ping before the other adjust the other side up just a bit. but if you get the reading damn close should be a problem.
