  1. You need to have them bored at a professional machine shop that knows 2strokes or a reputable builder. Wiseco pistons require a min piston to wall clearance of .003. I usually set them up around .004 to prevent cold seizing and lack of correct break in.. any pistons from any manufacturer can be differant in size by a couple thou. So in turn each cyl needs to be bored to the exact piston going in that cyl. When I bore a set that I am not putting the motor together on I will label tops of pistons left and right. That being said if a machine shop tells you they can bore a cyl with out having the pistons they are full of shit and they WILL NOT be correct! JMO

  2. Weisco doesn't make a 65.75mm last rebuild I did and I didn't want to go to 66mm, as I said before. That's why I had mine nicasilled at 65.5mm. As I also said before, don't overbore to go bigger. Overbore because that's what you need to do to fix gouges or true up your cylinder walls. Growing weary over here. 3. To run pump gas you're probably gonna need a 21-22cc dome. Most builders will be able to tell you what size you need based on port timings when they look at your cylinders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. You have now been spoon fed a lot of info. Everyone is growing weary of telling you the same thing over and over. Here is the short of it You are incapable of doing the rebuild yourself. You need to quit being so cheap and have a REPUTABLE shop do the work. Do not just pick some random ass shop that may or may not know how to PROPERLY set up your motor. Use a BHQ sponsor for your build. Who fucking cares if it cost you an extra $100 for assembly, it will be done RIGHT. If you decide not to take the advice we have offered and you end up with a junked out motor, we do not want to see you back here crying about it. We will most likely ALL of us laugh at you because you have been told how to handle this situation very clearly. You might as well quit arguing and just do what we are ALL telling you. It will save you $$$ in the long run. Do it right, do it once. I will not be responding to any more of your repeat questions on this issue. You know what you need to do. Giving away "TSS" for FREE!!!

  5. He is saying that they will want the piston. bore is piston specific as you can have 5 pistons and all will be a little different by small amounts. so the bore is made for that specific piston. all depends on how you ride and how often you ride, and maintain it. you will need new domes, around 21cc IIRC to run pump gas. you wont be able to tell 100% by looks. this is part of why we want you to go to a legit shop that does them. they know what thickness the wall is and if it can be saved before they bore them. currently you are like talking to a brick wall. listen to us, most of us have learned the hard way. if i was you. i would pull the complete motor out, send it to a legit banshee shop, that way they can check it all out, make sure there is nothing about to let loose in the bottom end etc. a few bucks now, can save you a lot later. that way when you get it back, you know its 100% good to go. remember, you just got this, you dont know the history, and from the sounds of it, the guy before you didnt know shit either. meaning it hasnt been treated 100% and may have other issues.

  7. I already told him this via text. Having ur cylinders in the hands on a builder that KNOWS porting (not some dude who claims he knows porting bc he grinded on some cylinder with a dremmel) will be able to know that domes you will need set up with to run pump gas. Plus you will have all your other issues handled at the same time (bore and pistons). You keep saying its gunna cost this much more blah blah blah you haven't even talked to anyone yet and got quotes. good luck ive given you all I know to do and btw its not that we wont be satisfied if you don't send it to a builder. what you do doesn't affect us, but you come on here and ask what to do and then say nope im doing something else instead

  9. Known him for years and visit his store every once in awhile. Great guy. To be honest, not a big forum guy. I've been on a few other ones in the past but just haven't had a need to buy/sell parts in some time. Enjoying this site though.

  10. I have used alloy and had great luck. I called them on the phone and they were easy to reach, very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I still have not seen these "emails" that were exchanged. I say if he can not show these emails that this thread be removed. It is currently unbacked slander. Proof or GTFO We want to see the emails!!! Juan make something happen Giving away "TSS" for FREE!!!

  11. I have no experience with this company. That said I'm sure there are two sides to the story, but for the cost of hardware to the company is pale in comparison to future revenue losses of poor customer support. One would think they would have asked for the hardware back to do their independent audit just in case they have a bad batch and offer new hardware at a discount ECT Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

  12. because chances are they arent going to set it up right. you need someone who does ATV work. if you want someone semi close, try this guy https://www.facebook.com/pg/southernbuiltperformance/about/?ref=page_internal i look at it this way, spend an 100 bucks to have it done right, and ride the next year or 2 worry free, or spend 50 bucks, have it blow up and spend another 200 on pistons that wouldnt need to be replaced if the machine work was right.

  15. Yes, and that clymers you are going to buy will tell you the clearance needed. I think it is 0.002" but don't quote me. Just FYI 1mm is 0.040". So, go with a sponsor, tell to set up your cyl as small as possible and they will tell you what can be done. They can supply pistons or you can order them. They can match them or you can get them and measure yourself. Not sure how close to splitting pennies we need to be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Good stuff man. Me and stribz both rock the 421 lp setup. Solid setup. Def get pods for your stockers. Think stribz is at a 350 main and 27.5 pilot with his stock carbs at 700 elevation.

  17. Pretty set on the driveline setup after doing some more research. Think I'm going to get one more paycheck under my belt and pull the trigger on the 4mil crank and 68mm cylinder setup! I can't find any good info on Drivelines cranks, I'm going to assume they're good and just get it all from them rather then a HR crank. I like the idea of 392, but I am afraid of throwing a rod....been there, done that on a car lol It sucks I bought this bike 2 weeks ago and already have to throw $1500 and a few weeks of work into it. But hey, I'll have my (almost) dream bike and you can't buy any factory wheeler with comparable power for less then $4500!! Its just the 2 to 1 intake, I have both carbs. If anything I'll trade the Uni filter on it in for a K&N w/ prefilty. Probably going to see how it runs/do a plug chop on the 30/360 jets that are in it now and go from there once I get to that stage. Once again, thanks for the friendliness and advice. I know this info is already out there for the most part. It's cool to see a decent community. Just went for a little yard rip, god damn I love this bike.

  18. Man if your wanting to stay under that 1000 budget, just go ahead and buy the 392 cylinders from driveline. You will have a nice reliable motor that will make some nice power. 800 bucks for cylinders, pistons, everything, u can use ur head, get new domes cut for 55 bucks, and use ur t5s with stockers with some pods. will be a fun bike. Then you can sell ur current cylinders and have a few hundred extra bucks, that's what I would do at least. [email protected] or 2487933535
