bertski077 Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 i just got my banshee runnin n now i want to tune it to get the most out of it...it seems that the right side is running richer then the left n besides compression i think it could be the carb sync is ou of a aline. how am i suppose to do this...it feels like the idle adjustment on the top of the t.o.r.s that the spring is broken on the right side. the left is fine. the t.o.r.s is eliminated but the boxes are still on top the carbs. thanks Quote
RIPPEN Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Jeff at F.A.S.T Racing sells a carb sync tool.. Allot of people say they can do it by "eyeing" it but if you want it really accurate hit jeff up for the tool.. 785-364-5325 As for stuff dealing with the tors Iam not sure about.. RIPPEN Quote
izericson Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 get yourself a clymer manual and it tells you how to do all that good stuff. also get a tors eliminator kit and loose those things on top of your carbs. once you do that it is very easy to sync your carbs. you get get a tors kit on ebay for pretty cheap. dajogejr Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 It's really self explanatory, the tool is. remove the airfilter(s), stick the syc tool in the bell of the carb, and see how much air it is drawing running at idle. Adjust the idle on each until the desired RPM Is reached, and the flow between the two is identical. Then...hold the throttle 1/4 open or so, hold it steady, and take another reading. Adjust the cable holders on top of the carbs tops to get this flow evenly as well. Lock 'em down, test it again, you're done. Quote
