I wish I was closer. I've been kicking around either building a 421 4mil with one of my bikes or selling one and buying a built one. Just out of curiosity do you mind saying where you shipped the YFZ-shee and how much they charged you?
I got a deal I couldn't refuse today so I ended up with a second banshee. It needs a little TLC but overall pretty nice bike. In any event there are no brakes so I'm looking for a complete rear brake system, preferably with parking brake block off plate. I need everything but the pedal, please let me know what you have and what you'd like shipped to 92129. Thank you!
Has anyone ever personally put YFZ450R rear hubs on a banshee before? I know the YFZ450 fit so I'm specifically asking about the "R" model. I believe they are wider than stock banshee but with an adjustable lonestar axle would this matter? I ask because I can get a good deal on a set of used billet lonestar hubs but lonestar tells me they are different part number and doesn't know if they'll work. My online research is that the splines and bolt pattern is the same, just the width/offset is different? Can anyone confirm this? Any issues with that I'm overlooking? Anyone insight is much appreciated!
I have a set of near new sniper silencers I'm not currently using and could be talked out of. If you find someone with just the pipes feel free to shoot me an offer.
I have a front brake setup off a 2002 banshee that was removed around 2005. They worked perfect at the time but have been sitting in a box as pictured since then. I don't know what they are worth, maybe some more experienced people could chime in, otherwise make me a reasonable offer shipped from 92129. I believe this is the entire setup but what you see is what you get so if someone sees something missing please let me know.
Thank you!
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, it's a noble thing you're doing. I might be interested in the exhaust, swing arm, chain and bumper. I'll look for the pictures, let me know if you'd be willing to do a package deal on them.
