TRO73 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I just replaced my front brake lines with +2 Streamline Stainless Braided lines and for the life of me can't bleed the damn lines. I get more coming out on the clucth lever side and a few drops coming out on the brake lever side. I have been pumping the damn brake lever for like 30 min. I have tried pumping the lever with the reseivor cap on and off..... :: WTF!!!! Any pointers!!!!! Quote

They are a pain in the ass keep workin on it you will eventually get it, I actually had the most trouble with the rear brake. Pump it up, hold it and open bleeder slightly and squeeze handle firmly/quick when it bottoms out close bleeder before letting off of lever. The agressiveness is what gets the air out quick. Good luck! Put clear hose on it to help see air pockets exiting lines. Quote
bronco91shee Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 A TRICK I USE AT WORK....OPEN TEH BLEEDERS AND WALK AWAY FOR ABOUT AN HR , OR OVER NITE ON STUBBORN ONES. TEHY WILL EVENTUALLY BLEED BY GRAVITY. YEH, YOU USE A BIT MROE FLUID, BUT IT USUALLY WORKS QUITE WELL FOR ME. THEN JUST TOP IT BACK OFF. Quote
