flyhighprerunner Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Replace it, its cheap and not that big of hassle, i replace my o-rings on my cool head everytime just for the benefit of the doubt i know that i don't have to i still do anyways though. Quote
mdhc500 Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 I would replace it... It's not worth doing it twice... Quote
okbeast Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 I always used 'em over, no problems really. Probably not running that high of compression with a stock head so I'd think you'd be ok. Quote
J-Madd Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 I have reused them as well, but occasionally you'll have one that leaks upon reuse. You can visually inspect it and see what kind of shape its in. The ones I have reused looked like new; but I have seen people re-use one that looks like hell, but still didn't leak. However, I'd recommend a new one if he has the time to get it ordered. Quote
mopar1rules Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 as others have stated, you could reuse it....if its in good condition. if you're in a pinch, you could spray some permatex high tack and reuse it. i would suggest getting a new one, if you can wait for it to come. Quote
bansheesickness Posted July 18, 2008 Author Report Posted July 18, 2008 thanks for the info guys, i think that the cool head with the orings are the way to go. i talked to the owner of pro design and he said i could resue them as long as they dont have any tears or gouges in them. i guess people do it all the time when changeing domes out.
