TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Got the throttle cable in the mail, and it is missing the screw that bolts/screws the cable into the housing. The one I had won't come off the steel braided cable I sold with the 2 into 1 kit. So I have no screw that screws the cable into the housing. No clue where to find one either. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 What would anyone suggest? I don't have the stock cable as I bought the bike with the 2 into 1 on it. So I didn't get the stock cable with it. And the one that was on the 2 into 1 wouldn't come off without cutting the cable. And even if I cut it, it wouldn't go on the new cable. So I am stuck... jbooker82 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 New throttle cable should come with it. What brand of cable is it? My Motion Pro cable came with one. Where did you get the cable from. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...sspagenameZWDVW Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 I got it straight from motion pro... I knew it was going to be missing something. I am so mad right now... I'll be down for another week because of a little fucking screw Quote

I believe PWK carbs use the same cable as the stock carbs with tors eliminator kit so maybe you can find one of those close to you. What is the part number on the package? josh Quote

But I dont think you could change that without cutting the cable. Gap probably has a cable in stock. Edited July 10, 2008 by pabansheematt Quote

I just oredered a new one... I am super pissed now because I have this cable that I just got in the mail, and I have no use for it. What could I do with this cable? I am pretty smart, but without the screw on there, how in the living hell do you get this thing to work? I mean seriously... no screw = pulling it with your hand? Quote
