bansheeonly Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I have to buy new reed cages because 2 screws are stripped in my stock ones. I have a boss intake which has square openings the vforce 3 have a round opening, the vforce delta 2 have a square opening, and of course there is the option of ported stock reed cages. Is it best to match the intake to the reed cage opening i would think so but i wanted to ask the pros. So which is the best choice of reed cages to go with this intake or does it even matter. As always thanks for the help and suggestions. Quote

bansheeonly Posted June 30, 2008 Author Report Posted June 30, 2008 .40 over mx ported cylinders, pro circuit pipes, 30 oko carbs with pods, noss head 21cc domes, plus 4 timing, 160 compression run 50/50 race gas. Most of my riding is done in open trails but occasionaly like to spank my friends 450s in drag races. Thanks Quote
jbooker82 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I would run v force 3's with cascade's reed stuffers. Thay would match up the square intake the best. Quote

I would run stock reed cages with carbon tech low or mid tension reeds. No need for a drag race or high flow setup like the vf3 on your application. Quote
