I'm looking into getting a launch limiter but thought I'd mention something on here. I don't know a whole lot about them but they sound pretty easy to hook up and fine tune. Any info would be much appreciated.

Good luck. I've got a Dyna rev limiter and it only worked a couple days...You also have to get a clutch handle with a switch (kinda like a brake light switch) that closes the circuit when the clutch is pulled.

i have never heard of anyone having good luck using this on a banshee becasue the computers thinks that the bike is running at two times the actuall rpm's due to the way the coil fires. idk maybe dyna has fixed this in thier electronics now?

I never had any problem with the dyna box with spark, when it works it works,NOT The cdi but the 3000 limiter,,I think the spark problem is not knowing what dip switches to flip for the right settings on the right applications.,although as stated I had the same problem my box broke and the relays stuck open on me which causes it to work half the time and run the battery down the other because you have to change the continuity on the switch on the handle...the box is good for the track because the free spin on your crank is not good (reving and holding rpms at the light) but it also fattns your bike up abunch because although the spark is limited you still have the same amount of fuel comming..I would only recomend it for the track.

The dyna has it built in and it should work in theory. If it doesn't work, send it back to dyna for warranty. One thing is for sure, those stock e-brake dump switches do go out a lot.

ask the guy on here running low 10 sec. in the quarter. looks like his stutter box works good.

NYUK,

You hit the nail on the head and there's a proper way to tune it also. You need a clutch activation switch that's adjustable. With proper know how you can solve the problem of being rich on the launch limiter. Bryan
