airstryker are jetted way different then pwk

i think i saw some one post like a 40-45 pilot mabye lower needle 2nd clip down it was like a bgl needle or something leaner than i would have ever used, and 150-160 mains maybe.

not sure i know the a/s seem to run lot leaner spec compared to pwk.

you might ask over at atvdragracers.com for jetting for airstrykers.

not a fan of those carb cause not many run them to get some idea of what to run.

HUH, i have done alot of airstrikers and they are always pretty close to the standard pwk but its hard to say they are the leaner or fatter cause every bike is different. I just start fat and work my way down never start on the lean side of what i would think it needs.

35 air strikers have diffrent slides and needles than regular pwk you cant go by someone jet size there running in 33s or 35 pwks

i have a set of 35s and ran a 38 pilot and 150 main on a drag ported 421 cub and it was pretty much dead on

your gona have t oget the pilot down some sizes and go from there

I have spent countless hrs working with my 35MM A/S carbs and this is what I have ended up with for my jetting.

Pilot #42

Airscrew 2 3/4 turn out. ( I could use a leaner jet)

Main 135

Needle= CEL middle or 2nd from top position.

This is on a 7MM Stock Cylinder 67.25 Blaster piston Motor

Motor puts 87 to the wheels with around 55 FT/LB of torque

These carbs dont always take a huge main jet.

Nice find Wes...

Aren't the Air Strykers more geared towards MX etc compared to PWKs.

Rob @ RDZ is right, I doubt he even remembers how to tune a gas motor, he's all methanol over there.

The link you posted was for a stock cylinder which is jetted differently than a cub. A 35mm a/s has a 4.5 slide in it and a standard 35mm has a 6.0 slide in it which is a leaner slide than a a/s so yes the jetting is a little different like i said but a i can change pipes and have to change jetting so everybike is different. We just got thru doing a 65x54 cub with 35 a/s on the dyno and it ended up with a cel needle and a 145 main but like i said start fat and work your way down... its alot easier to start fat and go lean then to start lean and rebuild...

ok i think im gonna start with a 45 pilot ,155 main and a cel needle and go from there. As long as it will start and i can ride it around to see what it needs ill be happy. thanks for all the help everybody. ill let ya know how i make out on saturday after i get her all put back together

Its hard to give advice when you own a bike that is a 4 mill and couldnt outrun a stock stroke stock cylinder bike. That has to suck. Maybe you should put airstrykers on yours so it can pick up some horsepower and be competitive. Keep looking for posts to copy and maybe someday you will find a post to help you tune yours so it will run. Some of us on here actually are speaking from experience on tuning and maybe you and passion racing should read and copy posts more often. Good luck to with the tuning of your fence jumping banshee.

Dude get a life. wes's 4mill ran hard for what it was, it was more of a dune/trail shee then anything. it was no full blown drag bike on alky.
