eggmann777 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Hey everyone, so I'm new to the forum and to banshees in general. I've been riding for a while and just bought my first banshee! It has relatively low hours and is in beautiful condition! I was wondering if there was anything in particular i should do to maintain it and keep it running good? or if there is anything that is known to go wrong with or break on it? Thank you for any info/help you guys can provide! Quote

Hilarious Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 if it has a stock air filter your first order or business should be to replace with an aftermarket brand of your choice with some kind of pr-flow adapter plate or individual filters that fit each carb depending on your riding conditions. Quote

Tapatalk Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 stupid question time: what the hell is a case saver? Quote

jamebo Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 stupid question time: what the hell is a case saver? A special piece you can buy that's made of billet or plastic that mounts at the front sprocket area. It protects the cases and transmission if the chain were to break and lash. Quote
xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 The link below will show what a case saver looks like. you put in on the shee close to the primary sprocket in case of chain snap, brake or pop. it saves the cases, shift rod/seal from damage. another words if you dont have one and your chain pops your probably gunna be spending a lot more then 30 or so bucks that it costs for the saver when the case cracks causing you to loose all your oil.
