ballistic Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 At idle, the throttle valve on the left carb is almost completely closed and the right side is slightly open. There is also much more exhaust coming from the right side at idle. Once you open the throttle less than 10% the left side begins to open and is matched with the right side almost exactly until WOT. How can I adjust the idle on the left to keep it open a little more? The banshee hesitates a little bit off the line because of this and I'd like to fix it. Quote
shee4speed Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 stock carbs? If so screw on the top of the tors. If not idle screws. You need to get those babies synced. Quote

It's mostly stock except full exhaust with T5s, K&N, and TORS eliminated. I have both idle screws and the ones on top adjusted the same for both carbs. Quote
NitroTate Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Yeah with out a doubt you're simply out of sync is all. You need to remove your air filter so you can see inside the back of the carbs where the slides are and slowly adjust the screws on the caps as you very gently tap the throttle to make sure both slides begin to move at the same time. Do a search for carb syncing and you'll find a bunch of good info. It's included in my video that will be out in about a week or so by the way. Quote
