tundish2800 Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 What is the biggest bore you can put on a stock sleeve? I want to put a 4 mill crank in my shee but someone told me i might have to trench the case??????? I want to go with a .100 bore with 4mill crank. Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 why do you want to bore your cylinders out that much? boring will not increase your power significantly and should only be used when necessary.. as for the 4mm crank, you DO NOT have to trench your cases for it. its a drop in crank. 7mm and up you do have to trench cases, 4mm you do not. tundish2800 Posted June 10, 2008 Author Report Posted June 10, 2008 So with a hot rods 4mill set up i should be able to fit it in the case? Right out of the box? Quote

Right out of the box? yes, the crank will drop right in.. but you either have to run a spacer plate or have your porting redone to match the extra stroke or it wont run right.. without porting, the 4mm crank is really not going to be that noticeable.
