I was working on routing the cable for the thumb throttle that i just installed and cant stand and i wanted to take the side tank shrouds off to see better and now i have a screw stuck in the tank towards the back of the tank closest to the seat. i`m guessing the threads are spinning inside the tank. i didnt put much time into it to try to get it out but is there an easy way of doing this or do i just buy a new tank before i have to take it off.

Thats a fuckn shitty way to fix that!!!

Take a pry bar and a cordless drill. Chuck up a 10mm in the drill, spin the bolt and pry between the tank and plastic. This will make the plastic warm and the threads will come out. Clean up the hole with a screwdriver (Leave some stuff inside for reinstallation), Change the bolt in the threads. HEAT the threads (is actually a socket nut)and mash back in the hole, Remove fill with Jb weld and reinsert. When done use a new bolt and dont be HE-MAN its fuggn plastic, SOFT HANDS!!!
