ballistic Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) I was reassembling my banshee the other day and I finally got it back up and running. The problem is that the idle is extremely high. When reassembling the carbs I accidentally bent the tip of the jet needle and when I tried to bend it back it snapped. Only the very tip broke, a very small part of it... Could that be causing my high idle? When looking at the carbs the one throttle valve is more closed than the other at idle, how do I adjust that? Edited June 5, 2008 by ballistic Quote
bunboy1 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 your gonna need a new pair of needles bud. Quote
Onesickcrewcab Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Yup your going to need some new needles. Do you have aftermarket or stock carbs? Need to know to tell you how to adjust them. To get them right it requires tools. Quote
