kwickez Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 I HAVE AN 87 BANSHEE BORED 50 OVER,AFTERMARKET PIPES AND SILCERS,ADVANCED TIMING PLATE, AND K&N FILTER.I RIDE IN SACO,WATERBOROUGH,AND LIMERICK MAINE (ITS ALL SOUTHERN MAINE)AND I CANT FIND THE ELEVATION OF THESE AREAS(ONE SITE WILL SAY ONE THING AND ANOTHER WILL BE WAY DIFFERENT) AND THE TEMP IS ANYWHERE FROM 50-95. THE REASON I ASK IS IT SEEMS TO RIDE FINE IN SANDPITS BUT IF I GO TRAIL RIDING IT WILL FLOOD AND FOUL THE PLUGS IN ABOUT AN HOUR. I probably have different pipes then you but I had the same air box setup as you are running now and I was at 290 mains and 30 pilots at the time. kwickez Posted June 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 i thought 250 mains were to lean but i just cant figure out why it runs fine until i hit trails.all that it takes is 1 hour and then it floods and fouls the plugs.
