remove tors without kit?

can i take out all the tors stuff without the kit and be fine?and just get the kit later?

Yep just unplug the little black box under the tank.

Yea, that's what I did. I unplugged the box under the tank on the left hand side.

can i pull the black box off and toss it?also what about the tors stuff inside the throttle housing(spring i think it is)?

The black box is the only part you can remove, until you get the kit to replace the carb caps, and the idle adjustment screws.

The blocks on top of the carbs will have to stay unless you get the kit. If you get the kit make sure you get the complete kit to drill and tap the carbs for the idles screws. Yes, you can unplug everything but no you can't remove the tops without the kit with new caps.

 

My 13 year old nephew rides my Banshee every now and then so when he rides it or anyone else that I don't feel would know what to do if the throttle stuck then I plug it back in.
