I am in the process of putting my banshee back together after it sat taken-apart for quite some time. I am almost finished and was going to try to start it but once I opened the valve on the bottom of the gas tank to let gas flow it started leaking from one of the ports on one of the carbs.

Is there supposed to be something connected to this?

There is a overflow tube that is supposed to run between the frame and the swinger..The reason it is pouring out is because you need to clean the carb bowls out..Your floats are sticking...Its pretty easy..Just take the carb off,un screw the four screw on the bottom of the carb and pull the slider pin out from the float and be carful not to lose the pieces in the spring return area....get some carb cleaner and make sure it all looks bling bling..No green..Mine as well clean main jet and pilot while your there..Good luck, lowbuckracing

Thats the bowl drain. The screw on the side should close that off. There is an o-ring that shouold seal that off.Probably shot. Mine leaked a tad there and could never get it to completly stop so I connected the two together from each carb. I dont know if that is the best thing to do but it WORKED!
