2001Stroker Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 Yup, tongue jacks. You can also get them where they bolt-on, clamp-on, or weld-on. Get one that is rated for at least the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR on the registration or sticker on the trailer). I'm sure you probably already mentioned it, but is it a single or tandem axle? They always have tons of trailer jacks in the store. Maybe they just ain't on the website. I would look up trailer parts/supplies in the yellow pages. I'm sure there's somewhere close to you that would have what you need. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 20, 2008 Author Report Posted May 20, 2008 My vote is for a Trailer Dolly.http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=37510 Or if you just want a wheel....they sell them locally at Carson trailer made to fit. Remember where you picked up those brake lines? They probably have one there at Industrial Liquidators too!! oh shit i didnt even thik of those guys! they have all kinds of junk! good call jay! Quote
tnr Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Typically the tongue weight of a trailer is between 15 and 20 percent of the total weight. Hope that helps in getting a wheel with a correct weighting. Quote

Midway USA Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Fighting the same thing you are. Got mine at Tractor Supply today. Bulldog was the name of the company. The tube size on my jack is smaller than the hole so I will have to machine an adapter bushing. It is rated at 1500Lbs. Quote
MILO Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 those wheels are definitely the ticket to moving your trailer by hand. my dad put one on his trailer and i even pushed it through the yard in the grass pretty easily. i think he got his thru northern tool co. Quote
