Yup, tongue jacks. You can also get them where they bolt-on, clamp-on, or weld-on. Get one that is rated for at least the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR on the registration or sticker on the trailer). I'm sure you probably already mentioned it, but is it a single or tandem axle?

I think he said he tried there and they didn't have anything.............. :ermm:

Damn, he did. :shoothead: I have a Harbor Freight pretty close to my house. They always have tons of trailer jacks in the store. Maybe they just ain't on the website. I would look up trailer parts/supplies in the yellow pages. I'm sure there's somewhere close to you that would have what you need.

Or if you just want a wheel....they sell them locally at Carson trailer made to fit.

Remember where you picked up those brake lines? They probably have one there at Industrial Liquidators too!!

Typically the tongue weight of a trailer is between 15 and 20 percent of the total weight. Hope that helps in getting a wheel with a correct weighting.

Fighting the same thing you are. Got mine at Tractor Supply today. Bulldog was the name of the company. The tube size on my jack is smaller than the hole so I will have to machine an adapter bushing. It is rated at 1500Lbs.

those wheels are definitely the ticket to moving your trailer by hand. my dad put one on his trailer and i even pushed it through the yard in the grass pretty easily. i think he got his thru northern tool co.
