jrod Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=150247635092 I was wondering if these will work on my 450 swap, someone told me they are longer than 450. Which may not be a bad thing. Quote

Which may not be a bad thing. I did a complete 450 swap...spindles,hubs,rotors and calipers and used some Long Travel Elkas I had from another quad...17.5" eye to eye...they fit perfectly! If you are using the banshee stock spindles then you dont get as much travel...I think it might be as much as 3" less...but dont quote me on that... Quote
DallasGDub Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 I did here that the 450 shocks have high/low adjustmenst and rebound. The 700 shocks don't have the high/low. Now we all know we hear a bunch of shit. I have not seen it with my own eyes. Also worth looking into. Quote

This is a description of mine: GYTR Edition features YFZ450 style four-way adjustable piggyback front shocks, with separate high- and low-speed compression adjustment in addition to rebound and spring preload adjustments. My friend has one of them, and he said his shocks are a little taller than 450 shocks. Quote
