Crossroads Motorplex Jasper Fl. 1/4 mile Saturday Feb 29, 7pm. -no points, just money. 2. Auburndale Speedway Auburndale Fl. 1/5 mile Saturday April 19, 12 noon. -points. 3. Ocala Speedway Ocala, Fl. 3/8 mile Saturday May 17, 2008. Gates open 10am, practice 12pm, racing 2pm. -points will accrue, money classes TBD. 4. Sumter County Fairgrounds Webster Fl. 1/4 mile oval www.sumterracing.com May 24, 2008 Sat time 12pm $500 Quad and $500 Motorcycle Class in addition to all regular classes! 5. NOT to exceed 450cc. No 2 strokes, aftermarket frames, hybrids, big bores, strokers, etc. (this class will be run on a selective basis) * Intermediate "B" Quad * Novice "C" Quad * Sportsman: 16 and up adult class. 4 strokes not to exceed 400cc, 2 strokes not to exceed 250cc. 250R's & LT250R's must be COMPLETELY STOCK. * Veteran 30+ Quad * Senior 40+ Quad * Ladies "A" Quad- For the faster ladies * Ladies "B" Quad - For the newer ladies * Youth Quad: 11- 15 years old. 4 strokes not to exceed 400cc, 2 strokes not to exceed 200cc. NO BIG BORE KITS, MOTORS, ETC. * Pee Wee Quad "A": 80cc - 150cc * Pee Wee Quad "B": Less than 80cc * Micro Sprint * Knobby Tire Classes- There will be knobby tire classes on the tracks that allow it. Please look at each individual races information regarding knobby classes. * Expert Motorcycle-Must have previous racing experinece in that class unless promoted by SDTA, any bike, any age, over 14yrs old. * Amateur Motorcycle-Minimum or no racing experience, any bike, any age over 14 * Vintage Motorcycle-Bike must be pre 1990 model, any bike, any age * Super Senior Motorcycle-Rider must be at least 50 yrs old. Cross over Hwy 301, continue east. Turn North on 471 in Tarrytown. Travel north through Webster then look for race track on west side of road behind large Ag building. fastrnrik Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 Should be some great racing this weekend. The track is a very big 3/8 mile. We should be easily running 90+ to mph on this track. This will give you an idea of some of the bikes running in the Open class. Several built Banshee's. One is a nasty 4 mil cub. Honda TRX 500R Sabre Tooth (can you say holy sh!t?) Aluminum framed Honda TRX350R power valve Honda TRX350R power valve Honda TRX 330R - an old Curtis Sparks team bike. Suzuki LT250/LT500 hybrid Phillips / KTM 550 Suzuki LT 500 Quadzilla and the 4 strokes..... (they don't stand a chance LOL) Yamaha 727 Raptor Three Yamaha YFZ523's And a several built Honda 450R's and Suzuki LTR450's ALL of these bikes are VERY fast, although the aluminum framed TRX350pv will be the winner.
