O.K. guys heres the deal, i've got a 2000 shee with t-6's k&n pods, v-force 3's, and timing at +4. it has 310 mains and 27.5 pilots( stock carbs), stock needle on fourth clip (the mains and pilots i had put them on before i adjusted the timing at +4) My question is what oil ratio would be good to go with? and is my jettin right? I ride at around 600 to 1200 ft. elevation. Also what oil would you recomend? :thanks: in advance.

32:1/40:1 will be good.

And as far as your jetting goes, sounds like you are in a good area. Your jetting will probably actually be pretty dang close I would think.

I haven't personally jetted for t6's, but assuming they are relatively close to t5's, you should be in the ballpark. I run 340s, stock needle on 2nd clip from blunt with 25 pilots (sea level timing +4 K&N pods. 50 degree weather) In warmer weather i throw a 330 main in. You will need to do a plug chop to verify where you are at.

Use the search button, everyone has their own favorite oil...

Unless you're running crisco or mazola, it's not usually the type of oil that gives you issues, it's the lack of oil that will.

Similar setup on T5s I ran 340 Mains, Toomey/Dynojet needle 4th groove from the blunt end (6 grooves vs. the 5 on a stock needle) and 27.5 pilots.
