mopar1rules Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 your jetting is too lean!! you will be needing to run like 240 mains and 27.5 pilots. leave the needle alone. what is your elevation and outdoor temp? Quote
chevytrucks84 Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 im in michigan at about 70 to 80 deg. every thing is stock, pipes, head all stock. thanks for any help Quote
mopar1rules Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 you say everything is stock. don't you have k&n pod filters? if you have them and everything else is stock, you will be needing to run like 240 mains and 27.5 pilots and needle stock. Quote
mopar1rules Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 did you try my jetting recommendations? if so, how did it work? Quote
dragbanshee Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 thanks ill try that set up I think you may need a 260 main with pods and stick with the 25 pilots and 1 1/2 out on a/f screw from lightly seated. Quote
chevytrucks84 Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 mopar the 240 works sweet but it might me a little fat in the mid. not sure yet because its a little richon oil. got a new 5 gal race jug put oil in and started filling the gas, got 5 gal in and noticed a puddle growing under the container crap jug leaks. and so on yea so ill put the right ratio in let you know more. i aslo thought about going to a 250 or 260. thanks for the help. chevytrucks84 Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Posted May 14, 2008 so far 240 main and 27.5 pilots got the 260 but the weather has turned. what about in the sand, i got 13/41 with 22" kenda paddles Quote
