i have my bike curently set at about 2 for the timing and trust me i got enough snap but i seen some one write that they have +4 what the deal just looking for info suggs.? thanks

okay guys i set it at about 4 a CH over. I got tit all back together and now when i went to crank it in 2nd gear it makes noting seroious but some back fire popping. Should i just boost my OCTANE? 93 with booster or vp?

What are your mods? Specifically porting, bore, stroke, carbs, reeds, pipes, and domes. Also, what is your elevation? Do a compression check. When you do it, make sure you hold the throttle wide open, and kick the living shit out of it. It might take up to 20 kicks to get the guage to stop going up. Make sure your keyway didn't fall off the crank when you put the flywheel back on. If it did, it is probably WAY off on the timing, causing it to backfire. Oh, and don't use octane booster.

no no the keyway is straight it was runnin mint but i turn it up to 4 lil over but i know i just need a higher octane or set it back
