assbandit Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 does the crooms have any good riding? are there any hills or pits etc.... Quote
375hp banshees Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 thanks!! yes,, not the greatest of any of them, but there all there, along w/ your typical miles of woops... Quote
jamebo Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 is it better than big scrub??? I've only been riding in Big Scrub once, but from what I could tell yes. I've been to Croom a number of times (thats Croom in my sig pic, sand pit area) and they have alot of different places out there. Ranging from sand pit, mud, trails and climbing areas.... Kind of like clay pits dug out that once you go down in them you have to hillclimb to get out! Very cool place, but like 375hp banshees said there are whoops everywhere. Quote
assbandit Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 sounds like fun if i can get my bike back together by this weekend i will be there!!! I haven't climbed a hill in 2 years since i moved to florida from Rhode Island everything is flat with just whoops kinda gay Quote
methyman Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Here is a picutre I took with my camera phone back this past April. I was on the top of the hill while my friend was riding. You can see how small he looks. Quote

You can ride all day long with other bikes and not hit the same trail twice, and there are only a few woops. Just wondering cause we go out there at least once a month. Oh ya and its free. Quote

jamebo Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Yes, I'd like to know also. What part of Florida is it in? It's always good to hear of new places to ride. Quote
smuttdawg Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 which one,.... where? just North of Lake-Okeechobee. Im in Port St Lucie on the East coast and its about an hour and fifteen minutes west of me but well worth the ride. Last weekend there were about 9 -shees, 4- 450's 3-raptors a DS650 and other smaller bikes. Oh ya and the fastest Quadzilla ive seen in a while out there. It turned in to an all day sand drag type day. My buddy and I run sand tires all day out there with no issues. Quote
jamebo Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Sounds like a fun place to ride. I've been to Okeechobee a few times, but it was to a dealership down there and it's a pretty good ways from my house also. That's where I bought my Banshee, they have some of the best deals on atv's and bikes in the state there. Quote
jamebo Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 We will be up there thursday afternoon some time. Did you guys have a good time this past weekend? I was wanting to go up there but I took my wife out to dinner and a show in Kissimmee for her birthday and really couldn't afford the trip. (gas for the Shee and suv/trailer plus permit) Ended up doing a little riding close to my house on Monday. Quote
methyman Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 I had a great time riding and met Dave 375hp banshees up there. Quote
