Banshee_04 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 I want to lower the rear of my bike but i dont want to strut it because i ride alot. Anybody here put a R6 shock on the rear of there bike.Does it bolt right up or what? Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 have one on my drag bike, you have to drill out the hole on the shock so the bolt will fit, and I believe you have to cut one of the bolt sleeves down so it will fit in the mount. cant remember its been so long since I did it. Banshee_04 Posted April 25, 2008 Author Report Posted April 25, 2008 Thanks man just wanted to know what all was involved in it before i got one everybody I have talked to has never used one Quote
colby72olds Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 I had to have my dog bone milled a little wider, the bottom of the shock wouldn't slide into it. Other than that, it's a greaty fit and the stance is awesome! Quote

ChippewaTSI94 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 What year R6 shock will work? It seems they changed something after 2002. What have you guys used that worked with minimal modification? Quote
