iveseenbetterdayz Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I'm probbaly gonna get some crap for mentioning this but on raptorforums a member posted a chart for general jetting that works. I was wondering if maybe I missed the one on this forum, or if had not been thought of yet. If everyone wants to participate we would need to know: Elevation, Exhaust, Porting, Bore, ect. While I'm at it I have a 03 banshee with dune port, 19 cc domes, stock carbs at 800ft elevation. Does anyone have an idea of what kind of jetting to go with. I'm gonna try the 310 mains I have but would love to have some suggestions. Quote
Dinner Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 With stock carbs, and a dune port you should be running a larger main than a 310. Do you have air box modifications, reeds, anything else. Or is it just dune port and 19cc Domes? Quote
mopar1rules Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 i was going to suggest starting mains of like 330's to 350's. Quote
Animalman294 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Ya, I was thinking 330 or close to it myself.............. Quote
iveseenbetterdayz Posted April 23, 2008 Author Report Posted April 23, 2008 I have the K&N pro flow kit without a lid. Thanks for the help I will give it a shot when I can get to a shop with jets. Quote
Animalman294 Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 About the chart idea, this is only my opinion, but I think that there is a huge difference between the variables affecting two strokes as there are affecting four's. I mean I can run a 170 in the morning when its cold and by afternoon I am in a 168, and then back to the 170 for the night rides. Not to mention different elevations, humidities and mods on each bike. It might work but its going to be one complicated chart.............. Just my .02 Quote
