D|rt_BaG Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Hey I guess I'll be building up my Banshee for woods riding, and I'm wanting to know if anyone makes long travel +1 a-arms by chance? I don't want to be to wide for the trees. Thanks. Quote
Michael Jackson Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) why long travel for the woods ?! kind of a waste.. and +2's are fine, the banshee is already extremely narrow stock, i ride mine in the woods all the time and never have a preblem with it, +2's dont exactly make it a mx 450, far from it, do you really think you are riding in areas where you only have 1" of clearance on each side though? also take into account, most people you see on here with +2's also have deep offset rims to make it even wider , and/pr thread their balljoints almost all the damn way out to make it wider, keep em threaded in, stronger and narrower, go with +2's my opinion Edited April 22, 2008 by Michael Jackson Quote
D|rt_BaG Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) Thats true it is vary short stock, I wanted to go long travel for the looks and performance part of it. Edited April 22, 2008 by D|rt_BaG Quote
Bobman13 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I belive roll design has the +1 long travel a-arms and I belive there is some still on ebay trying to sell a set. I currently just got my set of leager +2 LT setup wiht elkas, I don't recomend this route after my recent experience. And Houser makes A LT setup as well. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 janssen makes a long travel set up but i belive its +3+1 Quote
Michael Jackson Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) the way i see it.. if your riding in such tight trails you cant have +2's even on a narrow ass banshee... that kind of rules out the type of terrain that would require long travel...right? not my banshee though, and those long travel ends do look fuckin sweet! Edited April 22, 2008 by Michael Jackson Quote
trav-99 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 i called houser, they won't make banshee arms any more. not enough demand for them. Quote
