2001Stroker
I have a set of coil spring compressers. I'll go dig it out tomorrow and take some pics of it. I think I got them from PepBoys, like 10+ years ago. Not the cheesy ones with the little fingers on them, that slip and bust you in the lip. These actually have U-bolts that clamp to the coils, so they don't slip. Don't know if they will work on a Banshee spring, but I don't see why not. bansheerider253
anyone know which part comes apart?
chevy7398
you have to hold the shock shaft with some vice grips with some rubber or other material to keep the vice grips from scoring the shock shaft then you unscrew the mount off of the shaft
RAYTECH
If you talking about the front shocks. There is also a way to change the shock oil. The factory oil goes to s#!t after about 10 rides. But it's a secret on how to do it. Shall I tell??????????
bansheerider253
yes telling would be great!!! so you would have to compress the shock pretty far to be able to get a hook on that shaft. i have head of people using ratchet straps how do you do that? my spring compresser doesnt grab very well.
