Pep or Works Shocks...

ok im lookin for some new front shocks and i found a set of PEP triple rates with rezzys and a set of works dual rate shocks with rezzys and i was wondering which is better for trail riding and some hare scrambles. All opinions welcome. Thanks.

of the two id run PEP. but i run elkas on my banshee and i believe they are better than both. you can usually find some pretty good deals on elka.

i thought elkas were the most expensive shocks you could buy?

fox or eklas are the most expensive, but this does not mean they are the best. if your not racing or doing something competitive there really is not reason to spend 2k on shocks that will do the same thing as a set of cheaper works or axis or peps

elka, axis and fox are probably the most expensive you can buy. i do believe you can find the best deal on elkas though. i think i have 800 brand new in my front shocks and for the rear i just used a different spring and it works great. i really think you can find some used elkas pretty reasonably.
