Yup! That's what I will be runnning this year on my 1/8th mile alky 14mil. 18-38 might work too.

I dont think 18-39 is going to cut it. I run 17-36 with 2:68 pri's with 22" tires in 500ft.

I think hes going to need to try and pull more gearing hes going to be toped out right around the 1/8th mile marker.

It also depends on what kind of motor he has, compression and etc

18/39 should be pretty close depending on numerous factors, better have the motor to pull that gear. We have run 10.80 @ 115 mph with that ratio with 2.86 pri's and 20" tall tires. Bryan
