riderofthestorm Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 k so some guy has a mint set of dg pipes and silencers and is willing to sell them for 180...anyone know if these pipes are any good? I have them on mine and the only complaint i have is that it's a little hard to change plugs, not impossible! something must have been bent on tooez bike cause mine don't rub the petcock at all! they're a great woods pipe, great bottom end, i never tried any other pipes cause they were on mine when i bought it, they sound pretty good too, louder than my friends pro circuits, if your running stock pipes and there's no t5's cheaper on ebay i'd go for it. If you don't like them you can always sell them, but um sure you will like them, just my opinion guys Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 (edited) I used to have them on my shee when i bought it , and yes its a lil tight to change the plugs but by no means hard , mine didn't rub the cock eather  They sound real good and had nice mid range pull and for that price you can get them for, i would say go get them now before someone else does bro! SAVAGE420 Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 mine rub on the valve too. i bught it like that, and had a dent for one to turn the valve. i got a little bend ifront of the right front engine .the non fit is on the other side WHAT? Quote
pasedogg Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 im sayin my DG headers have a dent where the resevoir valve tap from the gas tank is.on the complete opposite side i got a little bend on the frame infront of the front of the engine. maybe a bend in the frame contributes to the pipes not fitting.
