  1. Well i had some more tim eto mess with it last night and still cant seem to get it idling good. once it warms up it doesnt want to idle and its boggy in the first half or so of 1st 2nd and 3rd gear until it hits the powerband. Should i try even smaller pilots? I just cant seem to get these, from my diagnosis, "carb problems" figured out. Otherwise is it possibly electrical? Im lost. Thanks
  2. Changed them out for 25's and messed with the air screw a bit. Seems much better than when i had the 30's in there but still doesnt seem to want to idle without giving a bit a throttle. Think it may be the needle position? I believe its in the middle but ill have to check when i get home from work
  3. Just finally got the bike back together for the summer and now im having idle issues. I think my pilot jetting is too big. Current jetting is main: 260 pilot: 30 elevation: 715ft Only modification to the bike is DG exhaust(sorry i dont know the model i bought the bike with them on it.) Oh and I just had the top end rebuilt so there isnt any compression problems. thanks in advance guys
  4. anyone on here from minnesota that could give me some information on a good shop to have pistons and rings done at? looking for something fair, but somewhere with good experience any help would be great thanks in advance
  5. only mod i have is dg exhaust...it didnt idle beofre i put the pipes on. and i actually already swapped the trottle cable when i swapped for the other carbs. they seem to be synched properly when i checked them, and isnt the idle screw something you add yourself
  6. alright for the last two months i have messed with my carbs tryin to get my 04 banshee to idle... i first just decided cleaning them might be the answer, it wasnt. then i the air screws must not be set correctly, didnt help. i finally got so frustrated i bought used carbs off a running banshee, and still have no idle. the banshee runs starts/runs great but whenever i am at low rpms it just dies. my carbs have the tors removed and i have removed the trottle swtich/ and the clutch switch. any help would be great guys, thanks in advance
  7. oh and the jetting is stock..but he had fmf exhaust so i dont understand wy it would make that much of a differnece for the idle
  8. ok so i just got new carbs from a friend. when they were on his bike two days ago it idled just fine. now i put them on mine and mine wont idle at all... they have the tors removed and i already removed the tors box under the frame. the only things i have done to the bike are dg exhaust and i removed the stock key so i can just use the teether/run switch any help would be great thanks in advance guys

  10. ok i got a 2004 shee no mods except DG extreme pipes and silencers. im at 750ft elevation. where would you guys start?
  11. ok so i just put dg exhaust on my banshee...i also put 260 jets in it and completely cleaned the carbs. now when i start it, it runs for roughly ten seconds then starts to make a popping/backfire sound through the exhaust and shut off. i start it again and it does the exact same thing. what could my problem be?
  12. alright thanks guys
  13. so for 180 there not worth it performance wise i mean thats really cheap for mint pipes
  14. k so some guy has a mint set of dg pipes and silencers and is willing to sell them for 180...anyone know if these pipes are any good?
