SAVAGE420 Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) I haven't ridden the bike with it yet but I idled the bike for about 2 minutes, which was all the longer it took for the water temp to hit 175 according to the gauge. Anyway I think it is a neat little toy, that only added a couple ounces to the bike and runs on it's own battery so I was ok with it. It also mounts to the bars real easy and clean and is easy to read. Anyway I would recomend it if anyone is curious about their engine temp, it's a lot easier than the inline dial type, thats for sure! I unpluged it thats why it reads LL.L. BansheeKid15 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I got mine about 5 months back. Its a really nice piece, but mine turns off randomly. When i was doing the heat cycles on my bike, i had to pop the battery out 2 times in order for it to come back and display the temp. I took my bike to pismo also and it never worked the whole time. I mean, the piece is awesome, im going to email them and see if they can get me a new one or any help to fix it. how does yours work?? Quote
