C&B Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 How often do u guys change pistons in youre cubs? Im due for some Im sure, just curious bout the rest of ya. Quote
dajogejr Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 I've never owned a cub motor (same one) longer than a year...LOL. Actually, I am on my second year on my 10. Depends on how often you ride, how hard you ride it. If all you do is drag race, pending a meltdown or blow up..yearly. Cubs have a habit of striping the intake side of the pistons because of the long, narrow bridge... Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 change mine about once a season. Quote
Animalman294 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Good to know, but I think you are right it depends on how much you ride and how hard you ride you shee (dragging, or just plain duning) Quote

_Hex* Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 sup guys well my brother had a 358 cub setup, dragged the shit out of it for two years always ran strong just finally gave way, but it wasnt even the cylinders that gave up the crank gave up first so it was still in it for a bit longer, now going to full port it and bore it out to 409 i believe.
