Ok I got my cousins 450r running this weekend and I have ran into a problem. To make the story short the problem i have is when you really run it somewhat hard for a few minutes it will puke about 6-8ounces of oil out the crankcase ventilation tube into the airbox :banghead:

Hopefully I can get some help here.

here is what is done to it

+3mm hot rods stroker makes it 471cc

13.5:1 JE piston

110 fuel

Head is ported

Stock valves

Stock springs

Stage 3 hot cams

Pro circuit full exhaust

i believe thats it for motor mods

maybe its the stroker crank splashing more oil up there or something like that

on another note, he probably need stiffer valve springs if he has a real agressive cam.

Do you have the correct amount of oil in the crankcase? Sounds to me that you may have too much in there. Too much oil plus the pressure built up by running the engine hard may be pushing some oil out. I would check the oil level first and then go from there.

A buddy of mine had the same problem. There is a clear window on my buddies that shows your oil level, assuming they are all alike, so I'm sure he's not running the wrong amount of oil.

its an 04 and yeah i had the right amount of oil in it. I found the problem though! Pretty agrivating but its my own fault so know i get to fix the problem.

I had the tranny vent line hooked to the carb, this caused the tranny to build excessive pressure causing a crank seal to blow explaining where the excessive blow by came from :banghead:

Time to order more parts and do it again.

thanks for the replys and help though.
