I have the chance to buy some Keihin 38mm pwk. will these work with a port job or are they too big? also is it hard to find chokes for these? both carbs are missing them. thanks brian Quote

[email protected] Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 depends on who does what and sets ure motor up. but 35's most the time is enough. bigger pistons dont do much , unless you really get a big bore... but in a stock motor cyl that will make ure tranfer sizes smaller... overall you need to ask yourself what you want to do with the bike. jbooker82 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 If you are going to be running stock ported cylinders I would run Keihin PWK33's. If your going with drag ported stock 4mill cylinders or a duner 421cub then I would go with PWK35's. I wouldn't run 38's or 39's unless I was strickly drag racing with a cub. Quote
