  1. I know alot of you guys dont use them But for some reason I like them I despise nerf bars but just the heel guard looks good to me. I purchased a set of ims roll desugn pegs on wdnesday so Now i am just looking for the heel gurds. I t jut is something different. thanks
  2. Hey do any of you guys have aluminum heel guards or know who makes them? I have seen some on banshees on the internet in pics but no luck on finding who makes them. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

  4. I am looking for some IMS Roll Designs Banshee Pegs. And also I am looking for some aluminum heel guards. If you have them or know where i can buy them please let me know. I dont know who makes the heel guards, I have seen them on several banshees in pics but dont know what brand they are . Please let me know thanks Brian
  5. O.K. I havent had it bored or honed yet I was waiting to see what size I needed. I blew it up last week and destroyed the left piston, rod and rod bearing so I have all new stuff just trying to see what size I needed. the left jug looks pretty bad so I am pretty sure I need to get them bored. So do I go 30 over or 40 over????

  9. O.K. guys I have got everything I need for the rebuild except pistons. I have measured them to be 64.5mm and the are not stock pistons. First teardown after purchase of bike and not sure what size i need to buy. What I need is what size pistons I have and what size I need to buy. Like I said the piston measures 64.5mm. Please let me know. Thanks Brian

  13. I am thinking getting a 4 mill stroker kit and bigger pistons and a cool head. I have the chance to buy some Keihin 38mm pwk. will these work with a port job or are they too big? also is it hard to find chokes for these? both carbs are missing them. thanks brian
  14. well i pulled it all apart and the left cylinder is destroyed my head is destroyed and the left rod is frozen to the crank and looks scorched so i assume the rod bearing is toast. I guess the next question I have is what now? stock or stroker who to buy from what are the advantages of stroker versus cost. any help would be appriciated. thanks
  15. I have the manual. does anybody know what would have casued this. well maintained bike. oil had one ride on iy. No warning or hint of anything.
  16. Will I need to split the cases? Would any of the metal have gotten in the bottom? This Is my first bike only had it 6 months. Also how could I check to see if is th crank or crabk bearings? Or maybe a rod? What do I nned to look for while tearing down? Thanks
  17. Well here is the deal. I was out riding yesterday and the motor went high idle for about 1 second and then shut down. I then tried to Kick it and tried to start a couple of times and then locked up. By that i mean the kick start wouldnt move. If I move it with my hand it eventualy moves a little father each time. but stays puy after that. So I got it back to the house and strted to dismantle and when i removed the left expansion chamber a handfull of metal that looked hammered came out. Some of it was aluminum but some of it looked brass or copper. Well I then looked into the left exhaust port on the jug and I can see the top of the left piston and it looks chewed up prety bad. Well it got late and That is were I quit I plan on complete dissasemble now and just wanted to see if anyone might know what i am facing here. The bike gave no warning of hint of failure. runs great always has. It has a .10 over bore with wiseco pistons and other than that the motor is stock. It also has k&n with no air box tors removed and boyseen rad valves and carbon reeds with Pro Circuit pipes. drained the oil and didnt look silver or have any metal in it butt it was a little dark outside so I will update the oil status. Please elt me know if you guys might know what has happened, Thanks Brian

  24. I have a 2000 Yamaha Banhsee with clean title for sale. Starts first or second kick. Runs great. It is bored .10 over with a wiseco pistons. Has TORS removal kit. 1 ride on rebuilt carbs with all new fuel lines and New Boyesen Rad valves with Carbon Fiber 2 Stage reeds. Polished boost bottle Bike has Pro-Circuit polished stainless pipes and silencers. New Pro Motion clutch cable. New EZ-PULL clutch perch. New FLY Handlebars. DG front bumper. A-Arm Skid plates, Full body skid plate, Swingarm skid plate. Brand new stock tires. Comes with stock expansion chambers and mid pipes as well as a set of DG silencers, spare grab bar, spare airbox lid, and spare UNI filter. I am sure I am forgetting somthing. This is my first Banshee and 3 weeks after I bought it The motor went out in My 2000 Ford F-150. Ford quoted me $5000 to fix it so I need to sell the banshee. I am asking $2,900 o.b.o. need to sell asap. I really hate to sell this bike but The new motor is not cheap. I can email more pics if needed. Trying to p[ost some pics but I cant figure it out. If someone could help me figure it out.
