here is a few pics of my bridge on my cylinders i just got ported..I was wondering if you guys think there fine or if there to thin. There exactly 1/4" at the thiniest point..i hope there good b/c i dont have money to buy another set of cylinders...thanks

yeah i know they do good work but i coulnt have the shee down for that long plus i didnt have the spare cash for there porting i have spent over $2800 in two months between buying my shee and the parts i bought for it. Can someone else tell me what they think? i dont feel like toasting my engine over a damn bridge. is it fine or not. thanks

your bridge is still pretty beefy , and really ,the rings dont come down that far in the stroke anywayto be overly worried ,yours is very mild i would say ,also this is not where the real power is made ,it is only the most notable change i na picture that you ofte n see,on hogged out designs you would probably only notice slighlty faster revs at midrange and a decrease in crankcase pressure and intake velocity if yo udidnt alter the transfer and exhaust as well ,the intake doesnt account for the bulk of the performance gain ..the transfer ports and the exhaust are where the magic happens . :cool:

yeah the guy i had do it owned a yamaha dealership for over 35 years so i thought he would know his shit...next time its going to rb racing or hurr jugs but for now i was only worried about the bridge but you guys think its fine so shees going together...thanks guys

I'm with Flotek. You can get more power by just transfer work than you can in the intake. Intake seems to be what everyone looks at.
